Hey, it's me, Jon Cairns!

I'm a young designer that's eager to create innovative physical experiences in museums and cities around the world. For my industrial design thesis project I will be looking into foodtrucks and how to better integrate them into the city. Many cities are launching pilot programs to see if foodtrucks are a good fit for their city. Unfortunately a lot of these projects don't provide foodtruck owners with the right infrastructure to allow these small businesses to flourish as a vibrant part of our urban fabric. I'll be taking an interdisciplinary approach applied through the design process to fix the kinks in the system and help foodtrucks and the cities they are in reach their full potential.
